Do Angels lie?
Just because Megan Barnett recently defeated Satan, has a fantastic new best friend, and has won the love of deliciously handsome Guy Matson doesn't mean her troubles are over. Far from it. For Megan doesn't realize it, but in her possession is a powerful weapon, one sought after by both angels and demons and everything in between...
Then when the mysterious and beautiful Roxanne shows up at Guy Matson's side, Megan finds herself questioning the sincerity of his love.
In the dramatic sequel to "Boyfriend From Hell," Megan becomes a pawn in the power struggle between Angels and Nephilim, and winds up in a gripping life-or-death battle to save herself, the angel she loves, and all of mankind from unspeakable evil.
Earth Angel E Van Lowe 9780983632931 Books
In book two of the Fallen Angels series Megan is trying to get her life back to some version of normal. After death of one friend and losing the other to jealousy, she finds that Maudrina and Guy are the only people she really has left to talk to, especially when it come to her supernatural adventures from book one. While Megan may believe that her adventures are over, things ramp up again pretty quickly when they discover a low-level demon has been tracking her.We get to meet a lot of supernatural types in this one, more angels, a nephelim, and a few demons. And they all want something that she ended up with in the end of book one. But Megan isn't ready to just hand it over, until Guy gets kidnapped and taken to hell. That kind of changes her perspecitve on things a little. I love the way the author portrayed the other angels and demons. They were each unique with very different motivations for helping or huring Megan.
A lot of times things seemed to just sort of work out magically for the best. Information would just pop up at the right time or people would suddenly be more willing to help - this made parts of the storyline a little unbelievable. I still very much enjoyed it and while I won't be chomping at the bit for book three - I definitely want to know what happens next - the ending was a killer cliffhanger.

Earth Angel E Van Lowe 9780983632931 Books Reviews
Earth Angel is the second book in the Falling Angels Saga. I normally don't like to read a series out of order, but in this case I did, and I feel that E. Van Lowe did a wonderful job in making it easy to follow.
At the begining of the book, Megan seems like your typical teenage girl..excellent student, wonderful daughter, and caring friend, who is trying to deal with the lost of her bestfriend, Matt (in book ONE). As the book progress, her character begins to take a whole new turn, from a model student to someone who is about to become expelled from school...From the ideal, trustworthy daughter to someone her mother can't trust. And just as Megan thinks the Evil she once defeated has given up, Hell turns up again. This time with demons, that'll stop at nothing to get what they want. Even if it costs the lives of everyone Megan holds dear.
Earth Angel was a very interesting read. Lowe, did an excellent job in getting into the mind of a teenager. I must say that I was impressed with the book and look forward to reading Book Three!

In my reviews, I will not give a lot of details that are in the book. Otherwise, there is no reason for you to read the book!! In my review I also won't give you the same description the book does. Like some reviews do. (UGH!)
With that said Earth Angel is just as good as the first book. Even though the first book had ended with one of Meagan's friends, Erin, threatening her, there really wasn't much of her in this one. However, it didn't dampen the over all story. There still was a Demon adventure with little things happening here and there with other characters. We got to learn a little bit more about Megan and her being "special". We also were introduced to a couple of other characters. There are a couple more Angels, a Nephilim and of course, a few more demons. I can't wait to see what the third book Heaven Sent, will tell us. I hope it will give us what it was lacking in this one. ERIN!
This book is very good from the beginning to the end. One minute I was starting the book and the next thing I know, I am 68% done. It went quick because the flow of the plot, body and overall writing is great! I definitely recommend this book. I do suggest you read the first book first Boyfriend From Hell. Otherwise, you may get confused.
**Warning - this review may contain some spoilers for book #1. Read with caution**
Earth Angel picks up right where Boyfriend from Hell left off. Megan is left trying to piece together the shambles of her life after the epic battle with Satan. Although she now has her mother back, she has lost two friends. Life is seemingly getting back to "normal". Well, a new normal for Megan.
I was so happy to see the relationship between Megan and Guy grow in this book. I was rooting for them all the way. It is so much fun to see Guy try to act "mortal". We also get to meet more of Guys...let's call them Friends...in this book and learn more about the environment that he was born into. It was immensely satisfying to learn about all of the different aspects of the hierarchies throughout Heaven and Hell (at least from the authors perspective). I was sucked into the worlds as if they were a complete fantasy world built from scratch.
There were a few things in this book that irked me. Small plot details that were seemingly unimportant, but pulled me out of the story just enough to make me stop and take note.
1.) The name of the MC was spelled differently at one spot. Her name was Megan throughout the whole book series, then in one spot...Meagan. Probably not something anyone else would notice, but since it is my name...I don't know....it called to me.
2.) At one point, Rocky, an angel who is portrayed to have no emotions, is proud of Megan for risking her life for love. If she had no emotions, why would love be something to be proud of?
3.) Guy is captured 100 ft in the air (with clipped wings), and yet when the battle is won and Guy is released, he just lands on the ground and walks over to Megan.
Wait, huh?
Ok, that was it. Those were the only things I had issues with in this book. Everything else was complete awesomeness!! This was NOT just a stepping stone book to get to book #3. There was a whole new story, characters changed and grew, and new characters were introduced.
Speaking of new characters....Ah Harrison...oh, I hope that I get to see more of him in book #3! Harrison is a Nephilim. The child of an angel and a mortal. So he stands in both worlds, fitting in to neither. He has this wonderfully sexy Australian accent, long blond hair, tall and slender. He is a friend to Guy and just rubs Megan the wrong way on every encounter they have. I loved him!
And, Oh. My. Gosh....the ending!!!! Nooooo, say it isn't so! I had goosebumps from the ending lines. Luckily, I have book #3 and will be promptly diving in to see what happens - right now!
